Jessica | Graduate.

During my four and a half years at the Academy of Art, I was privileged enough to meet some of the most amazing and talented people - and lucky enough for me, I have kept in touch with some of the greatest. One of my awesome friends, Jessica Rankin, asked me to capture her senior photos for her this past weekend and we had such a fun time exploring some new spots near my home in Dublin.

If you haven't had a chance to check out Jessica's work, you definitely should. She is the motocross master and her work is absolutely incredible. Head over to her website ASAP and leave her some love!

Congratulations on your graduation, Jess! I can't wait to see your name on the cover of every motocross magazine around. I am so lucky to call you a friend! You are so talented and I'm so proud of you!

Steven, Wendy and Baby Nathaniel | Newborn.

This past Saturday, I had the extreme privilege of photographing baby Nathaniel Suljak for the very first time! It was such a bright, warm and sunny day - the perfect combination for a perfect first photo shoot. We had so much fun capturing the sweet moments that you are about to see!

I want to extend a huge thank you to Nathaniel's mommy & daddy, Wendy and Steven, for welcoming me into their home and giving me the great pleasure of capturing these moments for them. I truly cannot wait to see your beautiful family grow in the years to come. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

Welcome to the world, Nathaniel!

#roadtripwithmylove | Personal.

Can I just say something right off the bat? LivingSocial is probably one of the most genius websites I have ever come across. So, if you aren't already receiving their e-mail alerts, you should definitely get on that and sign yourself up!

On that note, we were lucky enough to find a small little lodge WAY out in the middle of nowhere in a little place north of the small town called Graeagle. About 40 miles north of Truckee, Max and I spent our weekend at the cutest little place I have ever laid eyes upon, Chalet View Lodge. With no real address, the lodge is tucked away in an unincorporated area in the Plumas National Forest and is surrounded by the most beautiful pine trees in the world. Not only do they have an awesome breakfast and a fully functioning Starbucks in the lobby, they also have a full spa and small cabins to get away from the normal 'hotel' feel. Down the street is the small town of Portola, where had the chance to do a little antique shopping at Connie's Place and the most awesome lunch at Rico's Mexican Food - two places that I highly recommend visiting! With just a hint of cell phone reception, it's the perfect place to turn off all devices and have a romantic and adventurous getaway.

Here are just a couple snapshots of our amazing two day vacation. I hope you enjoy these views as much as I did!
